Our Packaging

Packaging and labeling are, of course, a very important component of the final product. Packaging not only protects and houses the ingredients, but also helps to sell the product off the shelf  and has a huge impact on the environment.

Much thought went into our packaging and labels. We wanted an end-product that is unique and at the same time in line with our philosophy of who we are and what we want our company to represent.

Our  coated rice paper pouches are light weight and have a very organic feel and look. They protect the delicate flavor and taste of the tea.  You can see the ingredients through the clear window, so there are no surprises. Pouches have a minimal environmental impact when discarded and can also be reused.

They are also very economical to ship because of their light weight and small size- two more ways we are able to leave a minimal footprint on the environment.

Our labels are also unique. We print on Fiberstone® labels which are created from crushed stone rather than from trees. We also use water-based inks which are environmentally friendly. Finally, your shipment of Tahoe Teas™ will arrive in eco-friendly boxes.
